New India renews its contract with SSP for four years

New India and SSP are delighted to announce they have extended their existing partnership with a four-year contract extension for Pure Insurance.

New India confirmed that SSP’s Pure complete solution does everything they need in terms of stability, reliability, flexibility, and the customer support received from SSP is of an excellent standard. It confirmed its relationship with SSP continues to go from strength to strength following the support received during COVID-19 and the recent acquisition of SSP by Volaris.

New India’s business has roots stretching back over 100 years, with two offices in the UK based in London and Ipswich. The company’s London office focuses on property reinsurance and property treaty, whilst its Ipswich office focuses on commercial insurance and retail insurance products.

New India uses SSP’s Pure Insurance in their General Insurance business to provide an intermediary service between brokers and insurers to cover SMEs such as hotels, restaurants, care homes, pubs, and property owners’ risks.

Simon Fraser, IT Manager at New India, said:
“When we look at renewing [a contract], we want that reliability, a relationship between us and the provider, to keep that trust ongoing. And we wanted to know that there’s investment going into the software, with long-term research and development. Reliability is key to New India; keeping up with business as usual is paramount and we found that with SSP. So, when evaluating the contract, we looked at that stability, the functionality – that we can actually use it to create our products and trade in the way we want to – and Pure ticks all of those boxes.”

With virtual negotiations continuing to be a mainstay, New India’s Simon Fraser has worked alongside SSP’s Bal Badhan for several years and between them, and the recently-joined Account Associate Jessica Ankrett, they were able to have open and natural negotiations due to the integrity of both sides and the existing history.

So, what’s next for New India? Their biggest focus is to automate some of their services, including how their Products are distributed to brokers and using the Bordereau System to import data. That will be a huge timesaver and provide them with greater insight into their business. New India confirms that they will be considering further relations with SSP when it comes to other improvements to their business too.
