The upgrade will see Endsleigh’s financial services subsidiary transition to the latest SSP Adviser software, managed off-site in SSP’s datacentre. By hosting its software with a technology specialist, Endsleigh will pass on responsibility for backups and disaster recovery to SSP’s datacentre.

In addition to SSP Adviser, SSP will also host two new pieces of insurance software for Endsleigh: Intelligent Quotes Hub (IQH) and SSP Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) services. The new tools will allow Endsleigh to generate more tailored quotes for a greater range of insurers by utilising new data sources.

The package of hosted services promises to reduce down time and deliver hassle free upgrades to the latest features.

Shaminder Gill, Head of Strategy and Proposition at SSP:
“Financial advisers and brokers often spend huge amounts of time on back office tasks which could instead be devoted to dealing directly with clients.

“The solution is a bespoke, hosted IT environment which works across the whole business and not just individual silos. Moving to a fully managed environment ensures advisers and brokers stay ahead of security and data protection challenges whilst scaling their capability up and down as needed.”

Elaine Etheridge, Operations Manager, Financial Services, Endsleigh said:
“With SSP keeping our back office up to date, our advisers can focus on what matters: our customers.

“Using one single hosted IT system that supports our advisers and brokers allows us to scale up our technology as we grow without the risk of complex upgrades.”
